The Gate Engine was the first device used by the GateKeepers to actually enhance the energy generated by the gate. There is no exact percentage to the rate of energy the gate engine adds, but using the gate engine does a lot more damage than without it or with their smaller versions of weapons. The Gate Engine amplifies, energizes and collects the energy the gate produces and then releases it towards the enemy. The original image had Shun in the center but with a little image editing, I was able to erase him without much difference to the original one. The Gate Robot is a modified version of the Gate Engine incorporating a cockpit for the pilot and a better combat protection due to it's special armor. It can be operated easily and is flexible. Prototype 00 became the Gate Robot that Syun uses. The prototypes, 01, 02 and 03 are piloted by Jun, Jim and Misao respectively. The armor used in constructing the Gate Robot is a special alloy that can withstand much damage during combat. Combined with the power generated by the driver, who must also be a GateKeeper, the Gate Robot becomes the ultimate fighting machine against the invaders.
