Volume 1 includes the first half of the series (Eps.1-12), and contains information on the history, setting and characters of the anime series. It also has a lot of pictures and photos of how Keiji Goto first drew his character designs.
Volume 2 includes the second half of the series (Eps. 13-24), and still contains information on the history and setting of the anime series. This volume also contains the credits of the full production staff, info on the seiyuus (character voices) interviews with them and the staff.
